At SkyDrive, we believe public transport should be easy, affordable and even a little inspiring.
That’s why in the middle of a global pandemic, when travel was at its most uncertain, we launched our first SkyDrive Express shuttle connecting Auckland’s CBD with the airport. People still needed to get there and no one else was stepping up.
Backed by Ritchies Group, one of New Zealand’s most trusted and experienced passenger transport operators, SkyDrive was created with a simple mission: to deliver convenient, cost-effective and comfortable journeys for everyone.
We didn’t just launch a new bus service; we reimagined what it could be.

Since our launch in 2022, SkyDrive Express has expanded from Auckland to Central Otago where our southern shuttles operate some of the region’s most scenic routes every day, between Queenstown and Wanaka, with a stop at Queenstown Airport.

How to book
SkyDrive’s online booking portal is easy to use and gives you quick access to the information you need.
- Enter your destination and date (s) of travel to see real time seat availability and pricing.
- Use our secure payment system to lock in your seat and travel
- Keep your confirmation and reference email handy. Use it to log in later if you need to manage your booking, change dates and times or request a refund.
